Fried rolled pork with cheese

 Thursday, April 29, 2010

---
A version of Cordon Bleu sans ham, rolled instead of flat. Basically, a thin slice of meat is filled with cheese (ham is optional), rolled in then coated in panko (japanese breadcrumbs) and fried. This is similar to how tonkatsu, Wiener Schnitzel and as mentioned Cordon Bleu are cooked.

This is a favorite at home too. My husband loves it, so do I. I also make it with chicken, and substitute ham with bacon. Of course, the cheese is always there. Sarap!
THanks for dropping. Enjoy your weekend.
